Rule 1: Find a way to love the game of life.

What is the game of life?

Story 1:

I used to wake up everyday, full of hatred, the feeling of revenge, but who am I supposed to take revenge from? My family that have been with me through all the bad times of life and the only thing they have done is help me in every way possible? Take revenge from the government? Someone has to pay for my hard life it seems.

Those feelings didn’t help. Me feeling like that just made things worst. I found out that the best way to enjoy the game is to accept your current situation and fight back, but not in a toxic way. What I mean by a toxic way is when you do anything for money, work 19 hours without using any strategy or leverage even if you hate what you do for money. Well I tried that and it works for a couple of years but at the end I choose myself over money with the plan to work everyday towards something that I like which at the same time pays well.

I found out that working on loving the game using Leverage, Strategy and acceptance to my current situation were the first steps to finally start and enjoy the game of life.

Story 2:

A story about Two men living in the same town. They walked the same streets. They worked as salesmen in the same company. Joe and Kevin.

Joe did not like to sell. He would just do enough not to get fired, would not try to do better. To him, the job was a hard thing he had to do. Each day felt like another wasted day. He watched the time and hated each second. He felt the day was gone and the only reward was money. He did not see his job as a game he could play. He did not ask himself, “How can I like this job while I am here?” or “How can I find a job that I love and I can do a lot more?”.

On the other hand,

Kevin saw the job as a competitive test. It was a game to play well. How much could he sell? How much could he learn about sales? He woke each day with a want to see what he could achieve. His work was not just a job; it was a place to try and get better. When a problem came, he did not stop or complain. He faced it and worked to fix it. He did not watch the time. He got lost in flow. Hours went by fast. He did not feel tired rather full of energy.

Lesson Summary:

In the game of life, who will do better, the one who hates each second, or the one who loves each second?

Pen, Paper and take action while asking yourself questions:

– Are the tasks that you have to complete meaningful to you? Were those tasks given or forced upon you? What are you willing to do, to remove those tasks and then add tasks that you, yourself picked?
– Do you have thousands of unfinished tasks, distractions that are consuming your mental energy, not allowing you to focus on anything else? In that case, you say enough is enough and focus on removing those distractions. The end goal is that you find your peace, you are the most important person and should aim to treat yourself the best while working towards your goal, which is chosen by you and only you. What are the real tasks that I should be focusing on?
– While you are reading this course or any course, you should not just read, You need to stop and understand what is happening in the course or in every area of your life. Even if you have to stop and read something a lot of times. A piece of paper and a pencil is necessary. Or some type of software to analyze your thoughts such as Scrivener (I use it to make systems about everything in life. This is up to you)  Am I taking enough action to see those massive results?
– Some information might seem useless now but things that my brain would ignore or would finf not important at that point of time would later come back to cause problems. Courses, Books and mentors help a lot, but you need to depend on yourself so that you can build that crazy confidence. I didn’t understand leverage for decades of my life. Would you work 120 hours per week for weeks and weeks for no reward? No way! That is called leverage. What you give and how much you can take back. The reward has to be there for you to keep going, repetition will make you sick bored. The minimum time you can spend on a task, while over delivering has be the main goal. Are you using Leverage where is needed in your life?
– If you are not enjoying the game, you will have to put all your effort into making the game playable. Question yourself!, Search, Ask, Research, Explore, Investigate, Study, Review, Re-check, Re-think. Again, you are the most valuable person in the world, the most important person. Invest in yourself in reasonable ways/areas and you will never regret it. Am I doing enough to turn the game into my favor?
– Basic needs are not to be ignored. Food, Sleep, Exercise and Mental Health. They are equally if not, more important. Try eating 8,000 calories and then go and be productive. It will just not work. Stomach will take all the blood from your brain to burn that food. Are my basic needs met?
